WEB APPLICATIONS WE HAVE WRITTEN
The following are being used to let you experience the power of web
application programming. Programming allows the visitors to your site to
instantly obtain information, purchase goods, browse products and services
etc. The nice thing about web applications, you are in control of the
information through an easy to use administration panel. Once the
application is done and running, there is no need to call someone to make
changes to your information. You can keep your site up-to-date
yourself. Talk about saving maintenance fees!
The examples below are a
demonstration of our programming. We will let John do the explaining here!
THE NEWPORT COUNTY CHAMBER of COMMERCE
The Newport County Chamber of Commerce has been a long time client of
John Flanders. John has been working with the chamber for the past
several months on updating their website. The new site finally went live
on August 20, 2005. There is an amazing amount of functionality that
goes on behind the scenes of this site.
Hats off to the Newport Chamber for being the most community spirited
chamber in the country.
NEWPORT
VINEYARDS
In 1998, we got a call from John Nunes at Newport Vineyards asking if we
could guide him through their first website. We met with them and
produced a site, which until 2006, remained productively the same.
Now in 2006, once again, we worked with John and his staff to bring a
new look and feel to the Vineyard website. The new site features
an online store (min-e-commerce), and a wealth of knowledge about this
beautiful Winery and Vineyard. Once again it was a pleasure to work with
John and his staff.
CLEMENTS' MARKETPLACE
We were honored to be the company chosen to design Clements'
Marketplace's first website back in 1997. Since then we have had a
terrific ongoing relationship with these wonderful people. Earlier
this year, Clements' decided to redesign their site and once again chose
us for the job. We launched the site in May of 2006. We
thank the Clements for all their hard work to help us make this happen.
JAM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
When JAM Construction and Materials Yard needed to consider a new look on
the web, they called John Flanders Internet Consulting. Working
together with us, they provided all the necessary information to meet their
goals. JAM Construction went live in April 2006. We are proud to be
working with this fine company.
BUSKERS PUB
The most popular Irish pub in town is Buskers Pub on Thames St.
in downtown Newport. John Caulfield, owner of Buskers, contacted us to help
him capture the essence of this incredibly fine restaurant. Working
together with Mr. Caufield, John Flanders Internet Consulting developed and
launched Buskers website. We cannot thank John and his staff enough for all
their hard work which helped us bring this site to the web.
ANTIGUA YACHT
CHARTER SHOW
A long time client, The Antigua Yacht Charter Show is an annual event
that attracts the finest yachts from all over the world. Having
experienced tremendous popularity and growth, the owners of the Yacht Show
figured it was time to upgrade their website to reflect the beauty of the
show itself. We worked closely with the Yacht Show and were able to
deliver this new site in record time. It is a pleasure to be working
with such super people. We appreciate all their hard work in helping us to
make this site a complete success.
VISITING NURSE SERVICES OF
NEWPORT & BRISTOL COUNTIES
The visiting nurse service were operating with their older style website.
In 2006, while upgrading their internal systems, they figured it would be a
good time to get a new look. They contacted us and we did an in-depth
analysis of their website and presented them with a plan for a redesign.
VNS appointed a liaison to gather and supply the needed information and
pictures. It was a delight working with them and due to their hard
work, their site was completed and up and running in record time. Thanks to
all for a job well done.
